杨宇民,博士,1967年11月生,南通大学教授、博士生导师。获国家高层次人才特殊支持计划(万人计划)科技创新领军人才、国家“百千万人才工程”国家级人选、国家“有突出贡献中青年专家”、教育部“新世纪优秀人才”、国务院特殊津贴获得者等称号,是国家科技部重点领域创新团队负责人、国家重点研发计划首席科学家,担任中国生物材料学会第三届常务理事、神经修复材料分会首任主任委员。
长期从事医学组织工程与生物材料教学和科研工作,特别是在植入人体生物材料的制备、仿生构建、性能优化、功能修复、降解及功能调控、材料生物学机制等方面进行了系统深入研究。研发的医用人工神经移植物获得国家三类医疗器械产品注册并应用于临床。主持参与国家重点研发计划项目、国家自然科学基金重点、国家基金委面上项目等国家级课题近20项,以通讯/第一作者在本领域权威期刊如Science Advances、Nano Letter、ACS Nano、AFM、Chem Engineer J、Bioactive Materials、Biomaterials等发表SCI论文130余篇,被引用6000余次,H因子43;获中国发明专利47项和5项国际发明专利。参与的科研成果获国家技术发明二等奖、军队科技进步一等奖和江苏省科技进步一等奖等科技奖励。科研团队被评为国家重点领域创新团队和江苏省优秀科技创新团队。
